Hey Brian you always have great videos. Now that I have buttered you up I
would like to ask a question. Have you or will you do a video on the
dreaded Chevrolet truck drive line clunk. Most people thinks it comes from
the yoke binding. I would like a professional opinion. It would make for a
great video. Hint hint. Peace bro

fightingfalconfan says:

Vary entertaining and informative…loved it!

AngeV2 says:

great vid as always. Those pic captures are funny. Wouldn’t it be great if
car manufacturers design a car in such a way as to replace clutch kit
without separating transmission from engine. Cant be that hard.

MrEdsster says:

Another great video. Wango tango would’ve been a good song to play when you
mentioned music and wait for it…. Come together right now. By prolly the
bestest group of all time.. Beatles.. Thanks Brian we all live vicariously
thru you and enjoy your sense of humor…. Getting old and my body parts
quit working as good as they used to.. I enjoy your videos.. Be safe…

DALE97DSM says:

air hose trick is genius, bet its helps beating the clock. Flat rate

bennydman666 says:

Brian what are your thoughts on lining a clutch up by eye. My father always
does it but he is over 30 years in the business as a technician.

ManicMechanic007 says:

Informative, educational, and entertaining. Thanks Brian.

Michael Sackstein says:

I agree that it seems easier to do the clutch job with a cherry picker as
opposed to pulling the tranny. Some people even prefer to pull the engine
and transmission as one unit since the bolts that mount the transmission to
the engine are sometimes very difficult to access

Bianchi Sanremo says:

Nice job. Which ratcheting wrenches do you like?
Hope you feel better soon.
Garbage units???

Shawn Landers says:

Awesome video as usual Brian! Thumbs up yeah!

Ken Rhodes says:

Great video. Thanks for skipping the music. I’d rather hear what you say.

Jimmy Mac says:

Great job as always. Did you have to bleed the slave cylinder?

briansmobile1 says:

Sorry this Sunday video is a bit late. The audio was messed up again so I
had to produce it three times. Enjoy! It’s NUTS!

LTA says:

Yay, new vid.
Also… SO MANY PILOT TOOLS

Pet Rock's Garage says:

Great video. I’ve always wondered why some manufacturers use springs with
their exhaust flange bolts/nuts, and some don’t. Pros & cons? Any ideas?

Deuce Nukem says:

i had an 01 alero that had a bad wheel bearing on it… had it replaced at
a dealer on the seller’s dime… turns out dude didn’t tighten that big nut
nearly enough. i got five feet out of the door and hit the brakes and went
straight back in and told them something was wrong because my brakes were
messed up… a mechanic test-drove it and said it was fine. i had to go
home and take it apart myself to figure out what was wrong. suffice it to
say i never went back to that place after i made them fix it.. which,
somehow, when they weren’t getting payed, took about 1/8 the time. but
yeah, those symptoms.. brake pedal shooting almost to the floor, steering
off, wobble, and grinding sounds from the caliper mount scraping on the
brake disc.. that’s one of those CV nuts not tightened right.

Tim webb says:

Great video Brian

dan lench says:

Do you or have you thought of using a GoPro? super small and you can get or
make a clamp for it. Thanks for the videos!!

happy543210 says:

i agree about the junk units. why can’t America go metric like the rest of
the freaking world!

raimondszunda says:

wooohoo, part 2! :)

m ph says:

I love those studs that help guide the engine/trans back together. Next
time I do a trans job I may wack off some bolt heads and use them for guide
studs.

Paul Morales says:

Best channel in town. I’ll be subscribed for LIFE!!!!

Shaun Butterfield says:

Thanks! I won’t say how long I’ve been working on cars but I will say I’m
49. You guys can do the math. I have never seen or thought to use air to
force gear lube. Awesome! I’ll never do it any other way.

Richard Vest says:

You miss spelled cordless in the description. What are you doing to the
hawkeye auto Impreza?

Charlie Lowe says:

For the pilot bearings to pop them out I just do the ole trick fill with
grease and get a socket and extension the same diameter socket and the
volume of grease and force forward pushes the bearing out even bread works
but it’s a mess of crumbs and not really worth the time I’ve seen the bread
trick done haha

Jgizzy -redacted- says:

It was a pleasure watching both parts of this video, I am always watching
and waiting for your new videos — you’re a natural at this keep it up and
