How did you depress the struts?

Hi mate, can you please tell me what the length of the struts is. The reason I'm asking is because I'm from Bulgaria and sadly Subaru parts a hard to come by as they are not very popular, so I'll have to find a couple of random struts or get a couple from a Legacy or Outback if they are the same size. Thanks!

I got my kit but the fender bolt is wrong size, my car has 10mm bolts and they supplied 12mm so hopefully they can correct that. I assume your fender bolts are 10mm too?

On my Subaru I installed worn out baggage door struts of a local LADA 🙂
For the baggage door they were really bad, but for subaru's light aluminum bonnet they seemed they are gonna work forever – they work really well 🙂

The old bonnet support makes a good fire poker
Definitely a good mod. I used an old boot strut out of an Outback, tried 2 but almost sent the bonnet through the windscreen, 1 was enough
