Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we’ve gone about it, but we can’t promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won’t harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you’re doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you’ve seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt. Some of the products featured in this video may be supplied by sponsors. For a list of our current sponsors please go to mightycarmods.com

Buck Yeah in the US built one of these for his daughter on his channel. Can’t wait to see the final build, I suspect the old STI engine from the Levorg might be going in it

James Minnich says:

Keep the forester shell. 5.3 LS swap rear drive. Pre-Runner style! Don't cut the hood. I say, side pipes…

THANK YOU FOR NOT BUILDING OBNOXIOUS SUPERCARS!!!!!!!! I'm so bored of YouTubers showing off $M+ supercar snooze fests!

The Brumby FUIEE

Steve O says:

Disappointed it won't be turbo. Seems like a lot of work for mediocre results.

I guess you didn't want to chop up the bonnet or something…

Douglas Croxford says:

You guys need to get some Brat decals. Brumby is a pretty lame name.

goulash75 says:

Can't wait for you guys to get on to doing up a Mighty Boy. Really needs to be a follow up to the Brumby.

Jeff White says:

Still can't get over how clean and rust free that thing is, over here in NZ 99% of them just rusted away.

I bought 1999 Forester 2.5L with 95,000 miles (153,000 km) for $5,000 in 2012.
It came with the beginnings of a blown head gasket, my ex stole it, I took it back and hid it in the middle of the night, she called the cops, sued me, and I replaced the head gasket at a friend's place who declared that we were boyfriend-girlfriend as soon as I had the engine apart.
Awkward!
I finally sold it for $2,700 with 1250,000 miles after a bunch more repairs.
I miss that car, but not the drama! 🙂
