Heh…”wheel studs” were the words you were looking for. I get irritated
when I’m making a video and forget the word I want to use.
The slide pins are also essential for the floating caliper function, so
that both pads wear evenly.
I know as mechanics, you and I wouldn’t let repairs like this go, but I’m
thankful for people that are “too busy” to get things like this taken care
of, because then I can make more money on the repairs while they sit there
playing with their cellphone. Everyone’s happy!
