I'm doing this tomorrow and it was very helpful. Thank you. As a newbie who knows nothing. I do have a mentor that's overseeing this tho.

Thanks for the video. I removed mine today. I could not find my husband's tool's but I still managed to do it correctly with the tools I did find. It just took a LOT longer. LoL
Not bad for a girly girl.. (Please nobody get upset cuz I said girly girl. I'm saying it to myself. )

ratch BrG says:

there is air issues with these older Subaru models due to the way the thermo goes in.

Nate Valline says:

Question… How did you address the automatic transmission lines? I am replacing a radiator and like in your video the Subaru is a manual transmission, but the new radiator has the two ports for the automatic transmission lines. Do I need to cap them or can I just leave them as is? Thanks

I have a real quick question for ya

poompoom500 says:

Okay. Today is May 16, 2016 – and am watching this video again. 12mm for the top screws, and 10mm for the clamp screws. NOTE: the thermostat is at the bottom radiator hose.

poompoom500 says:

I have the same car, Subaru Legacy 1998. Exact match for my radiator which has a very small hole (pin-size). And this video is very helpful.

BillyBozen says:

Do you think this legacy uses the same radiator as a 1996 svx?

ICU2 says:

Are those type of clamps causing uneven clamping pressure and failure of the plastic parts they are clamped to as I noticed that the plastic failed right under the clamp screw assembly?
