I have to ask, how often do these pegs break? If you never remove your taillights, you never have to replace these pegs, yes? The fact you tried not to break the peg upon demonstration reinforces my thought process. Wouldn't you want to break the peg to support the reasoning behind your stainless steel pegs? It's nice, but no. Why not lateral arms w/90A bushings or similar to the tighten up squishy factory bushings elsewhere in the car?
