Peter Abrosimov says:

I try to do it on Subaru Outback 2010. When I start enginecfruid running front little hole in connector and engin stopped. What I did wrong?

Jeffrey Mitchell says:

My dealer did this cleaning and ever since at the first start of the day we get a white smoke out the exhaust.
Should I be concerned and take it back to the dealer or is it the cleaner still burning off?
Again, it’s only the first start. Car is garage kept.

eknapp70 says:

I’d love to see a “this vs walnut blasting” video

Gary Baldwin says:

I guess the only way to tell is to do a before and after inspection of the back side of the intake valves. Do you think you would see a difference? Isn't your cross trek port injection anyway. Can you damage the cats that way…or no.

Sean Warden says:

Is yours the turbo version. Would you reccomend with or without turbo? Going to purchase my first Surbaru . Getting outback wilderness.. Appreciate input. TY

kleenbeats says:

Does this apply to the older H6 models?

K2SKIER112 says:

I just added a de carboning spray to my 2005 EJ engine. It threw 2 codes, both misfires.
Have you ever looked at the spark plugs before and after the carbon removing spray to see how much it cleans?

NWAStormchaser says:

Should we use a catch can on the new forester?

f5fstop says:

If only we could find out what company makes these items for subaru to re-label and sell as their product. Subaru does not make these product any more than GM makes their top engine cleaner which is actually Techron with a GM label.
As for top engine cleaner. These engines need to be either port injected to allow fuel with cleaner to flow around the valves to stop the buildup, this is not possible with direct injected engines. Or for best all around purposes, a dual port injected/direct injected engine. Many manufactures are doing this giving the best of both features. Direct injected for fuel economy, port injected for valve cleaning properties. Yes, it does increase the cost of the engine, but if keeping the vehicle for over 60-70K it will be well worth it.

Fernando Zamudio says:

hi, any chance you have a video of the cleaning process in an XT FA20?

Mad Dog Clyde says:

Hey Mr. Subaru 1387 ! I just have to tell you this because even though you already get a lot of thanks and appreciation from people as I can see in the comment section ! Thank You So Much Man ! You my man are “The Wizard” to me and I’m sure to a lot of other people ! Your videos are an excellent library of unending information and knowledge for many, many people ! I can tell by watching many of you’re videos already that you are a man of very high character and morals !
Your Family is very fortunate to have a Husband, Father, Brother like you and I’m sure you do an awful lot more to help people in your life than make videos to help many others to save money and make their lives easier ! Im just so appreciative of your videos because the help me an awful lot ! And I’m a pretty mechanically inclined person and it makes it so much easier to do myself then figuring it out on my own ! Thank You Again and I’ll always be a subscriber ! I’m gonna leave you a few bucks just to say thanks and hard work and to show you how much I appreciate you ! Have a great day and God Bless Man !

P.S. Just so you know I have never left a penny to anyone ever on you tube ! I have never felt anything I’ve seen that warranted leaving A Monetary Thanks Tip ! If some people just gave a Buck atleast I’m sure it could help out ! I don’t have much money but I’m going to leave you $10 bucks and maybe that will make some more people to think about it and just leave a $1 dollar ! Just like they should leave the guy who helps them when they pump the gas into their Subaru’s !

katzenpapa says:

Can this be used on a GM vehicle?

KeviNissan says:

How about the CEL light? Do you need scan tools to take it out? Or les it off by itself?

Mike Sylvain says:

Hi Mr.Subaru.I read a TSB on this for 19-21 2.5 said to run car at 2000 and set the tool at 22 degrees.Said it should take an hour to empty bottle. Thoughts?

Smokey Walker says:

How do I know this really cleaned up the intake? I would love to see a before and after image of the intake valves to see what the result was. I would never buy any engine with direct injection only. What bad engineering.

Marcus S. Young says:

At how many miles do you recommend doing this?

sgcole111 says:

Hi Mr. Subaru-Thanks so much for the excellent body of work. Really like the OBs with the FA24DIT but worried about carbon buildup. Are these engines better/worse than other DIs? Seems like a lot of people believe chemical induction cleaning doesn't do much of anything, whether Subaru chemical or BG or whomever. Any thoughts on Walnut Blasting as the gold standard? Seems manifold removal/replacement is most of the work. Actual blasting seems easy. Thoughts? Thanks again.

Tee Jay says:

Anyone use the CRC GDI cleaner ?

Jason Jacobsen says:

Would this be recommended for an older EJ engine? Specifically a EJ20G in a v1 STi. I know the heads on these old ones have oil squirters and that can cause a lot of carbon in the combustion chamber. But not sure with the age of the engine if this would be advisavlble/required.

King Covey says:

seafoam anyone?

Matthew Guilford says:

Well if u have a carbon build up issue then u have a issue not driving ur car hot enough, another good way is let the engine burn it out its self

Anthony Guess says:

How often should you run this through your motor

Bill Link says:

Could this kit also work on a 2010 Nissan Maxima? Or is there a similar kit for Nissan? Thanks

Robsyuk Woollett says:

What's the part number for the inlet cleaner please.

Gerard Bocchino says:

How often should you perform this service?

Jacob Borcherding says:

Does anybody know if this kit/tool can be used on a 2013 Toyota Tacoma? Thanks!

Julio Enrique Musik says:

My forester 2016 start chocked when i start the car i need do that in my forester????
