I like Subaru but hate CVT transmissions. When Subaru stops using CVTs, I’ll look at buying one. Until then, no way.

Uhmmm, now the Corolla Cross AWD competes with this vehicle, not the RAV4. The Corolla Cross is a little more expensive than the Impreza, but I bet it has rubber gaskets instead of the Subaru’s silicon goo. There is even a hybrid version of the Corolla Cross out now that gets way better gas mileage than the Impreza.
Customers should support manufacturers when they build good cars like this without overthinking and over-engineering them.
I've been a taxi driver for 16 years, cars that you rarely or never see used as taxis are : Subaru, Nissan , Jeep, Mitsubishi- the Nissan, Jeep and Mitsubishi transmissions are just too flimsy and the Subaru requires vigilant maintenance (which doesn't happen to most taxis).
Hi everybody, I'm hesitating between a 22,000$ kia stonic and a 34,000$ toyota corolla hybrid (only hybrids are available). Are the 10,000$ more worth it? What would you do?
My wife has a 2020 Ascent. (1st owner) It’s great. Very Nimble, turbo charged, very little lag. Great in Colorado snow/ slush. Great car. Zero problems so far.
I would take 2023 Crosstrek over Impreza, same hand brake, way more cool features for extra $5K
382,000 miles on my 2002 Forester and it has NEVER sounded like that engine.
I wouldn't buy this engine with silicon seal instead of gasket… probably won't last 100K miles..
Subaru's are available because people are learning not to waste money on em

Scotty or anybody else! I have a 2002 Suzuki XL7 and the left front wheel locked up for a few seconds at highway speeds. No hot rotors, no burning smell and it drove fine after it happened. What could it be? It is 4wd the front wheels spin freely unless its in 4wd which it wasn't. I'm afraid to take it on the highway cant find anything answers online…. Help!
