If I replace the vf40(?) in my 2005 Outback XT with a vf52 it has to be tuned? I assume that’s a yes but just confirming. Also do I have to replace the tmic?
Probably good point too make on what steps wouldnt have too be taken on a stock car so people kno who are not familiar with the subaru platform like the whole aos thats a added on performance modification
Do you know if there are any OEM replacement downpipes that aren't stupid expensive? I'm trying to revert my car back to stock so I can sell it but not trying to pay $1k for a downpipe lol. (Stock dp for the car, cat was plugged so it got recycled)

I'm changing out my timing, pullys, tensioner, water pump, cam seals, and oil pump seal this weekend on MY16 STi. Hope my cam bolts aren't seized.
Right on time again as I'm preparing to install a GS BB500. Would you suggest upgrading the oil feed lines (IAG/Torque solutions) while the turbo is out of the car? Hey man got a 2013 wrx with the 2 bolt flange turbo currently but I have a ets front mount with that style piping but I would like to swap to an sti style turbo so I have more options but I really don't want to have to change the hot side piping so I was wondering if you think the fitment should be pretty much the same I think I have a solution with a grimmspeed coupler that fits a fmic to an sti style turbo I was just concerned about the barometric sensor being in the way…was wondering if you had any tips or advice?
