The Racer Dave channel was created to help share information, get people involved in auto racing, and share some exciting race videos. Most auto racers like to be secretive about what they’re doing but I want to share everything I can to help people get started and be successful. Although I have a long history of racing bikes and motorcycles, I didn’t start really getting involved in auto racing until 2014 when I started just riding along as a passenger in rallycrosses. In 2015 I started co-driving in rallys and dual entering a buddies car in rallycrosses. By 2016 I was hooked and decided to dive in head first and build my own full on rally car! I found the advice of pros was interesting but usually not the perspective I was looking for as a newby. Subscribe and follow me as I share all the tips and tricks that I learn along the way!

Please leave me any questions or comments and if you have anything you don’t want public just email me directly at 4RacerDave@gmail.com. And don’t forget follow me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/4racerdave or Instagram @4RacerDave for all the latest updates and racing action! I hope to see you out at the races!

quick note, if your subaru is a turbo you can just unbolt the down pipe off the turbo instead of pulling the whole exhaust manifold off to pull the transmission

I have a 1989 Celica GT and clutch job is so easy… I even had a shop do it for less than $600.00 parts and labor. That was back in 2005 and the clutch is still good in 2017… Things were a lot simpler back then… Nice video. Thanks!

Jason Pelletier says:

Hi – wow thanks for that video ! How high did you had the car up on the jackstands ?

Trevor Corey says:

I have a 2000 impreza rs and recently the clutch has been whining when it is engaged. I think it might be a bad release bearing but I am not sure, I know you're not a mechanic or anything but does that sound right to you?

Do you know if the Exedy clutch kit wil work on the ACT Streetlite flywheel? im planning on swapping my 98 legacy to a manual and i want a light flywheel but I dont have the money for the ACT Clutch kit. The engine in my car is a 2.2 and ACT's website says the 600705 flywheel will fit. Please would i be able to feel the clutch better seeing i plan on using the cable type till i get the money to do a hydro clutch.?

Dragon Ballz says:

My 99 mustang makes squeaking noises when it's cold and you hear a rattling noise when you barley disengage the clutch what could it be?

Roy Berger says:
