That is a helpful video. Question: Shouldn’t you unhook the battery before
unpluging/plugging in the unit?

TheDIYGuyDOTnet says:

Your welcome, glad we could help.

bmsetzer says:

This helped me a bunch, nice!

TheDIYGuyDOTnet says:

It has the car harness plug, It also has the antenna plug and a ground
plug. What style FM modulator are you planning on using? Most I have seen
go into the cigarette lighter and are wireless so there is no need to
remove anything interior wise.

TheDIYGuyDOTnet says:

Good point I forgot to mention the steps for an automatic car. Thanks I
will update the write up on the website… Link in the description. For an
automatic car you will need to remove the small ring just under the shifter
knob by pulling down on it and then remove the C-clip that holds the shift
knob on. With the C-clip removed you can now remove the shift knob and then
the small ring and then the bezel. Good Luck, Hope that helps..

Nick Cross says:

Where did you get the RCA adaptor?

boardrideer says:

what kind of radio plug does this car have? i want to put in an fm modlator
in mine, but want to know if i need any adaptors, before i dismount the
interior.

levi johnson says:

does this stereo have the aux plug ins in the back?

TheDIYGuyDOTnet says:

If you click the link in the description it will take you to the website
with a write up and in the first or second paragraph there is a link to
output conveter.

TheDIYGuyDOTnet says:

The factory radio doesn’t have an aux plug. You can buy a new radio bezel
and adapter to install an aftermarket radio/ head unit. If you click the
link in the description and at the end of the first paragraph it has the
links to what you will need to do so.
