Thanks for the video. It helped me on my Subaru XV. It would have been helpful to show the type of bulb needed. Also a good way to advertise your own bulbs

John Doe says:

How about the glovebox bulb?

Mark Baker says:

Hello, will these work on a 2013 crosstrek?

Laura Michelle McKernan says:

These techniques work for the 2018 Crosstrek models as well (probably no surprise there). Although, the owner's manual says to push each license plate light casing outward, away from the Subaru emblem before you can pop them out. This was not as easy as they make it look in the videos. Not sure if it's because it's the very first time mine have ever been moved or it's a 2018 model thing. Either way, I had to use a tool to help me get them out. It was much easier locking them back into place though. I purchased my bulbs on Amazon and had no issues with fuses blowing or putting them in "backward" as people were mentioning. I might be completely ignorant and new to all this, but I didn't see a frontward/backward way to place them. I've only had them in for a few days now but no issues so far.

Tulnek says:

This worked for my Impreza, as the Crosstrek and Impreza share interiors

Dillan Murray says:

will these bulbs work on the 2018 crosstrek?

Taylor Clark says:

Do you guys have the links for any of this stuff?

Roberts Firearms says:

I just installed these for my 2018 Crosstrek the ones for the 2013-2016 Crosstrek "Do Fit" If by chance you install one backwards and pop the fuse as I did. it's fuse #26 (not listed in owners manual) "It's a 10 amp / mini / low profile" *also*
On the plate lights, the holder was really stuck. If you take a pair of insulated pliers or a insulated wrench, flip it around a leverage it with the rubber covered end. Makes it much easier. These lights are well worth the money and time to install.
Much brighter and clearer than the factory OEM bulbs!

Can you tell me what types of bulbs did you use

Danny Flores says:

I recently purchased the dome LED light for my 2017 WRX from Diode Dynamics with high expectations. I'm always skeptical before purchasing something and decided to go with Diode due to it's good reviews. The bulb appears to have a good build but to my surprise, the dome bulb was too big and per diode's instructions – I had to widen the gap for fitment. Now that it was installed, I noticed that the "Door" (auto) feature stopped working properly. Now the dome light remains on when all other lights shut off the way they should. I turned the car off and made sure all doors were closed, and locked it the way I normally would to see if anything would change, but the dome light still remains on! I even installed the halogen factory bulb back on and still had the same problem. I emailed and never received a response so I decided to call Diode Dynamics to report the issue I was having and the rep gave me the impression that he was careless. He stated that there must be a misfire somewhere else and suggested that I take it to the dealer. This doesn't sit well with me due to the fact that everything was working properly prior to installation. I wish the rep would've shown some accountability due to the product being what caused my dome light assembly to stop working. However, that's not the case. I will no longer purchase anything from Diode Dynamics.

Will these LED bulbs fit a 2015 Subaru Impreza?

Cristian Soler says:

How do you add extra LED lighting for the trunk of the crosstrek? That one light doesnt do anything bc it's always blocked by my stuff…

Mitchell Silva says:

Is there enough space in the xv's interior light housings to fit the board style lights?

Dan says:

any idea when the smd6 trunk light will be back in stock?

Jordan Lee says:

hey, I recently went on your website and used the vehicle search to find these bulbs. the only ones listed were the map and dome lights. I purchased these anyways, but I would like to get the cargo light and license plate bulbs as well, any help!? thanks!

Erica Yang says:
