Looking to do this on my 2015 WRX Premium. Great video by the way :). Not many videos showing my car. I believe I have a tensioner and will need to check. I've seen plenty videos showing older models of my car with bolt to loosen belt instead of the socket where you loosen auto tensioner.
I believe the belt removal and installation for my car is the same as in this video correct? Looking around for the best belt also. As of right now thinking to just go to Autozone and get the best one they have for my car is that a bad idea or do you think I should get the Gator quiet belt or whatever. I have around 63K miles on the car. It started to squeak but is still pretty quiet. The belt still looks OK from what I can tell but I have a feeling I should look into replacing it soon. I want to get the best brand that will last the longest. If I recall correctly the service manual calls for 90K miles? I live in New York and use my car daily. I want quality not cheapo parts. Other than that looking to get it from Subaru directly…Any thoughts?
