Sloppy, floppy, limp shifters seem like an inevitable thing when it comes to all Subaru cars and that includes my Impreza WRX STi. The culprit is usually the shifter u-joint but even with great stock bushings, the shifting feel can leave a lot more to be desired.

In this episode I fix my shifter slop, and improve the shifting feel with a short shifter, upgraded shifter bushings and upgraded transmission mounts. I also give tips on the install that I wish other videos mentioned.
