How To Fix Subaru Impreza Idle Revving Up and Down

The idle revs on the Subaru Impreza was fluctuating, it was randomly revving up and down, not breathing properly, after we did the diagnostic check to find out the fault code ( 24 air recirculation valve ) we removed and cleaned out the sensor, this fixed the problem. If it does not fix replace the sensor
