I've been wondering what plugs i need, i run e85/98 mix running 350whp in my ej207, i took out the old plugs and it was hks m40i plugs and i was wondering can i run ngk lfr7aix plugs or do i need to buy the same plugs i took out?

@austinmapile4157 says:

Cylinder 4 spark plug hole is now cross threaded. Great.

@Ziggsinablanket says:

Man was I spoiled back in the days with civic's. Pop those babies off right on the top…STI looks like a hassle =(

@blaketankersley2449 says:

You dont say the year and you take forever to get to the point. Waste of time

Going to change spark plugs soon on my 19 sti. How do you feel on the ruthenium plugs? Supposedly they're better than iridium.

@michaelthompson1822 says:

Hey Tanner, are these plugs good for a stock 21 sti, or should i just go oem from Subaru. It's crazy how much more expensive oem are than the 1 step colder.

@nastysoda9212 says:

Can tell your Subaru gets tons of TLC, thanks for the info! Doing this next week.

@brother_maleik says:

For a stock sti do you think 60k is fine for spark plugs or do 30 just in case??

@briantrudgen9352 says:

Never put antiseze on your plugs never!!!. Nkg has a dip coating on the plug.. plus you need to have the threads to ground on the motor for proper spark. It even lists this on nkg direction and site

@kaleclair9954 says:

“Rotate 180 degrees, unplug it, and pull up and out”

Mine doesn’t even rotate? And unplug what, the wire? I’m just confused cause You left yours in??
Please explain.

@littlefoot4417 says:

Literally been watching you for 1 year and did not know you had installs on EVERY FUCKING thing, awesome!!!

@jvllianTV says:

FYI don’t not remove spark plugs while the engine is hot .

@spawnandbatman6975 says:

Don’t use anti seize on ngk plugs. The lubricant from it could cause you to overtorque the plugs cause them to break and that’s a major issue. The treads on the plugs have a corrosion compound already.

@martypino5258 says:

Seeing this car before the eg swap is a throwback..

@jmt0728 says:

What size spark plug socket did you use?

@darylasuncion377 says:

Is it fit on sti 2021 those spark plug?

@hyojoonus says:

Forester needs to have it's engine jacked up because the valve covers are too close to the frame rails.

@jmt0728 says:

What would be the recommended spark plug gap for a fully built sti with an fp blue turbo and full bolt ons? I can run e85 or pump but on pump gas I make 400whp and peak boost is like 20-22 psi

@jordanseymour980 says:

On the NGK site it says to not use anti-seize or lubricant on NGK spark plugs, apparently it can be detrimental. Just wondering if you’ve ever read that anywhere or had any issues due to adding anti-seize? I didn’t think it’d be an issue but just wanted to ask after reading that on NGK’s site
