MercedesDieselGuy says:

I THINK if you disconnect all four with the car on jack stands or a lift, and probe the connector for continuity with a multimeter while spinning the wheel, it’d probably be obvious which one is failed. Then again, if it’s intermittent, it may be hard to find.

IronmanBoulder says:

In your case you physically destroyed the ABS sensor. I have one that’s throwing a code – any insight into how to get the data on which sensor is failing?

MercedesDieselGuy says:

Not the axles. They didn’t need it, but definitely weren’t new. I do recall replacing the rack boots on this car. It’s the single most neglected maintenance item I see on Subarus. Most owners don’t have the tools, knowhow, or desire to pop the tie rods off the steering knuckles.

Michael Sackstein says:

Did u replace the axles & steering rack boots on this car as well? They look pretty new

MercedesDieselGuy says:

Got rained out, unfortunately. Will try and finish up the rear struts during the evening this week. Will have a video for that.

Michael Sackstein says:

Were the rear struts as big a pain in the ass to get off as the front ones were?

MercedesDieselGuy says:

Absolutely. Will take it in for that once I’m done with the rear and tune-up.

Michael Sackstein says:

I’m assuming you’ll probably need an alignment after you finish with all the stuff under the car

MercedesDieselGuy says:

It is now. Moving on to rear struts this afternoon.

Michael Sackstein says:

Looks like the front of the car is pretty much complete
