I think that you are right about where they are, this was not my car it is gone. you can get get all the factory info for your specific car for under $20. Just Click on the link in the description that will take you to my tip jar. On that page you will find a couple banners for car repair info. I would recommend at least checking them out. One month of complete access, pretty good for under $20 bucks.

Hi I have the L300 v6 3.0L engine and I’m trying to replace the spark plugs because of misfirings and the fact that they’ve never been changed for the 163k miles on the car. how do I get to the spark plugs? are they located in those red lined things below the manifolds? also how did you actually remove them and with what tools etc… there is very scare information on this process anywhere on the web i’ve looked so all information is helpful thanks.

Autotechviewpoint says:

do you have the 4 cylinder 2.2 or the V6 3.0 L 4 cylinder has plugs in the center looks like they are under a coil pack of some kind. the V6 also has coil assembly that you need to take off sits on top of cylinder head assembly. one for each side of course.

I just replaced the thermostat on my ’01 LW300. Gone are the days when it was a 10 minute job. Took me 8 hours and I have the factory shop manual!
It makes things a lot easier to pull the center bolt of the front engine mount, put a jack under the mount and use it to raise the front of the engine. This gives better clearance to remove the water neck intermediate tube.

Autotechviewpoint says:

I think in the video it shows that the injectors came up with the intake…

ezeisme2008 says:

when taking the bottom intake off do u have to remove the injectors or does the whole assembly come up

Autotechviewpoint says:

Yes you can reuse them, I believe they are just regular hose clamps.

JUDGERAMBO says:

Those band clamps that join the upper intake ends are those reuseable ?
