In today’s video, we introduce the process of replacing the LCD screen on the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra Resin 3D printer. We know that many users are struggling with this process, so we created this guide to help.
If you’re a beginner, we recommend following this method to replace the LCD screen and be sure to keep the following points in mind:
• Screw Classification: There will be many different types of screws during this process. To avoid mixing them up or losing any, you’ll need at least 8 pots to organize them.
• Protect the Frenzel Lens: Try to avoid scratches and be careful not to damage it while tightening the screws.
• Give yourself enough time to do it.
Lastly, we would like to remind you that if you are a beginner, it is best to choose a method with lower risk.

• Hex Wrench: 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm.
• Cutting Plier
• Knife
• Zip ties
• Dust-free cloth
• Gloves

I don’t own this printer(yet). But it appears the main thing is removing the side panels to get access to the lense and lcd. Ideally you do want to remove the lens and put a cover over the lamp but I mean, most of it seems simple enough.
As soon as I can afford, I will buy another printer, certainly it wont be elegoo
Why is there glue on every single cable?????
They forgot to show removing the glue from connectors
Bloody hell reaally? Next time design it so the consumables are easily and quickly replaced. Imagine taking apart a whole inkjet printer just to insall a new ink cartridge.
Just got my replacement screen (Thank you Yodel for throwing it over my back gate yesterday and not leaving a note so it was on the floor in my back garden all night with torrential rain so pretty doubtful if it will work). Thought I would have a look at how to replace it before going to work but might have to book the day off now to finish watching the video. Never seen so many screws being removed in one video (apart from a FEP replacement of course).
Yeah this is why i avoid elegoo they just cheap out all the time and make everything as difficult as can be to replace
At least make a fair bloody video and show how to get rid of the hot glue that's on all the connectors.. It's the worst process ever to replace a consumable on a device I've ever experienced. Already spending 2 hours to pry the glue from 3 connectors with isopropanol and tweezers… If I'd known I'd probably just gotten a new printer. If you're thinking to buy an Elegoo printer and know you have to replace the screen I'd some point.. I might reconsider.
This is a crazy operation for that one part ^^ Hope the next one will have a better design.
