up cover, will the bolts be in the same place just inside the this
compartment?

how do you change the rubber boot on the gear shift /stick ? this is not a
boot its a cover you are replacing called a gaiter its a cover only

Holy shit, what a pain in the ass. When i replaced my shift boot, I just
screwed off the shifter knob and just lifted upwards on the boot and it
came right off.

2s but i think your handle is gen 1 style but am not positive.
