Thank you very much for this video. My Saturn Vue 2007 radio has been glitching from time to time and radio station will change and CD player will jump songs. I decided to watch your video and do some troubleshooting. Checked all the connector plugs. It seems to working now. Maybe something got loose. Anyway, you saved me some money! Thanks again.

The lights to my stereo broke. I can hear the music and radio but the lights broke does anyone know if I have to replace the whole stereo??

Nice video. Short and to the point! Thanks a lot!

TheBaames says:

Great video. But you are supposed to disconnect the negative cable from the battery prior to working on the electronics/stereo for the 2006-2007

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

There are similarities.

Can I use this tutorial as a guide to remove a 2008-2009 Sat. VUE stereo?
The stereo is the same one.
Is it a similar process?
Thanks a lot all comments in advance.

My radio stopped working yesterday after hitting a pot hole. The head unit worked but speakers didn’t. I used this video to get back there and get them working again. It worked! Thanks for the great instructional video!!!

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

We do label this video for the 2006-2007. It should be the same. However, it is rare for a wire to come loose from a factory stereo, check ALL fuses too. There are some under the hood near the battery too.

edwpf says:

Will this be the same for a 2006 VUE? Our radio stopped working, so we’re thinking about trying to remove it ourselves in order to check if any of the wires have come loose.
Thanks for any feedback you can offer.
