I have 1997 Saturn SC2. When I put on reverse, it drags feels like the parking brake is on but on drive it goes smooth. When I try to speed up, I hear a loud noise from the transmission I guess. The transmission looks good, any recommendations? Thank you.

I have a 1996 SL1 with the 1.9 l 4 cylinder I thought I had bad transmission mount so I replaced the Trans and motor mount and it still shifts hard going into reverse and drive and through all the gears is this the same problem

Haven’t got a full diagnosis yet but the automatic transmission on my 95 Saturn SL2 307K needs to be repaired or replaced. Any idea on cost? Initial problem was a hard shift into reverse followed by being unable to drive in reverse
My dumb ass bent the long tube on the cover while taking it off. I got it pretty straight, about as straight as I can, do you think it will be okay or am I screwed? If there anything on the cover side of the tube that I messed up by trying to bend it back?

Hey man I got a 99 sl2 and it’s got delayed reverse and misses third. would It cause it to almost stall as well? Only code is no second o2 sensor. When it misfired the check engine light went off as well. Any ideas would help.

Great video. I just bought a sw2 automatic and occasionally it either delay or it shift hard when i put it in reverse and only after sitting for the night. It only has 75k on it. Would you recommend to do a valve body swap just out of precaution? What transmission fluid and filter do you recommend? I use the car for Doordash so i am eating miles, but i want to keep it in good condition.
My 1999 Saturn sl2 is having issues sometimes when it is cold in the morning and it will go into reverse fine but when I put it in drive it will slip like it is neutral but when I put it in park then drive it will go away. I was wondering what will cause this? It only does it when it is cold. I also have the code p0731
i tightened the input shaft nut..and that did get my reverse back..but now having isuise with overdrive engaging..any ideas what happened?
Hi, I hope you can help me, I'm burned with this theme, I hve a 96 saturn sl1 A/T, My car have P N D 2 3 but my R does nothing, Is like a other N, I revved my engine to 4k rpm and Nothing, the transmission dont make some sound, But, my reverse lights is on, And the same time I have other issue, when I driver if i pressed much the accelerator The car revolutionizes and does not make the changes and I have to release the accelerator to lower the rpm and make the change
