I need help I have a 03 saturn vue v6 all wheel drive it seemed to be running ok but failed emissions. took it to a shop they came back with P0171 system to lean bank 1 and P0174 system to lean bank 2 P0446 evap emission control system vent control circut. P0507 idile control system rpm high. now the evap and rpm i question because for almost 7 days straight it was being drove the service light was on but it ran good and the idile never jumped around or sank to low. i scanned it three differant times and days before it went to the shop i had the evap code come up one time than it went right back off. never had the idile code. bank 1 and 2 did keep coming up. they also said intake manifold gasket is shot and i should start by replacing that first. my confusion is i have been sitting in the vue with it running for the last 45 mins give or take the idile has not moved it is where it should be im confused any help would be awesome thanks
So what exactly is being done here, and WHY does it stop the leaks?
UPDATE: Still no leaks. Have not needed to add a drop of antifreeze or water since the repair was made…
