Hi Man! Thank you so much, I eventually managed to repair that connector as I could never find it anywhere here in NZ, I got new pins and is now all working good, most of problems been resolved! thanks for your awesome help!!
Hi! Many thanks for your kind help and you’re not late at all, I’m the one actually very late in getting the car fixed…. my battery is not going, I live in NZ and batteries of this kind are not easily obtainable here and there plus the cost of it… is taking me longer, without battery I can not check what is going on, been using jumper leads too much and I think I’ve been affecting my darling’s car a bit because of that, I appreciate and will definitely do what you suggest me, thanks heaps!!
I know im years late but check the intake manifold, and EGR for cleaniness. mine was dirty as h3ll, i mean i used a long azz screw driver and paper towel to clean it out. There was mud in my intake manifold, and EGR was filthy. Clean those components, im sure it willl help. When you take EGR off the middle section should be bouncey like a spring, if it’s not then buy a new one, or clean the old one, but the middle should be bouncey like a spring, if it’s not buy a new one. Hope this helps
Hello amigo, I have been looking for that connector online and I haven’t found it, where did you get it from please?
That’s so cool! II haven’t seen a Saturn in green, unique I’d say, I live in New Zealand and there aren’t many of these cars here, I’ve only seen it in red color… that’s right the fan is not kicking in to work, I tested the fan alone and it does work, I haven’t replaced the thermostat but the mechanic says it works based on testing that both hoses (in and out of radiator) get hot, I will check those items you say, I hope to resolve this nightmare soon enough, thanks heaps for your kind help!!
one more thing bro if you car overheats its because your fan doesnt work and lastly when it overheats put you heater on high it will cool ya engine down i had the same problems same exact car but in green lol
Thanks very much, as soon as I get the chance (getting recovered from a bone fracture) I will do that and will let you know 🙂 good idea.
Check ya iac (idle air control) or oxygen. Sensor. Even the egr
Many thanks! I didn’t replaced that but I thought about it, that connector seemed to be ok, I gave it a CRC sprayed and tested the connection (continuity test on the cable with a tester) and it is ok…. : /
when u replaced the coolant sensor did u also replace the coolant temp sensor connector cause they are known to get coolant in them and not work properly
