My only car and first car a 2003 Saturn ion 1 with 220k miles has lifter tick and sometimes my transmission grinds when I go into 2nd gear but other than that it’s a great car I learned manual in it so the transmission might be from me and the high mileage together and prob the liftertick too lol

MHM says:

Scotty you're not allowed to die yet we need you

Martin Walden says:

I'm older than you so I can remember growing up to "What is good for General Motors is good for America" and "As General Motors goes so goes America". It so happens that my father-in-law was a vice-president and Board of Director back in the 1940s and early 1950s during the salad days of GM. I could see the writing on the wall for GM when the gas rationing hit in 1973 and GM tried to convert to making status Buicks and Cadillac road battleships into little rinky-dink vehicles and charging the same price and junk.

Mike Lowry says:

Scotty I have a 2008 Audi A4, it idles super hard and sometimes when driving i lose power or torque, I replaced oil filter, spark plugs and even got the engine flushed what could it be? Is it the transmission maybe

L0la C0la says:

I was thinking John Madden

Alexio says:

Am i crazy for thinking a simple solution for electric trucks or heavy vehicles would be to run them similar to how bumper cars work, you have them always connected to a grid(on long road trips interstate or between major cities) and have a combustion engine as a backup source of power

james Gordon says:

Smh man dont put die and your name in the same sentence

Martin Walden says:

I bought a 2004 Saturn Vue AWD Redline new. I still have it. I have the Honda 6 cylinder and have the plastic body. I was fed up with door dings which is why I looked into Saturn with its plastic body. It also saves 200 pounds. It is a screaming-meme with tons of acceleration. It holds the road like a sports car. Only thing I don't like about it that it has a wide turning radius.

I happen to ride up a chairlift while skiing at Tahoe with a guy who was the engineer in charge of painting Saturns at their plant in Tennessee. I asked him why they discontinued the plastic body which I thought was the greatest things since sliced bread. He said the cost of the plastic panels was way more than stamping sheet metal.

destinationfer2 says:

Saturn could have been Americas Honda…. Funny too cause they tried there hand at an s2000with the pontiac/Saturn Sky… I'll let you ponder on the possibility of an Saturn 2nd gen s2000… Yeah… GM had ish leaders sometimes.. Thank God The Corvette people aren't ish leaders…

z says:

I've been a mechanic for almost 30 years, and I've seen and fixed a lot of cars, but almost every time I watch one of your videos, I learn something new!

Ramon Gonzalez says:

They put the Honda Pilot V6 in The Vue V6 until 2007. In 2008 the Vue went to an all metal body and the GM V6. That lasted 2 years until GM shut down Saturn in 2009.

Kris says:

The GM guys clearly have tendency to screw everything up not even using any screws

JIST HOVNO says:

RIP JOHN MADDEN!!!

Charles Wallace says:

Man I was feeling bad for a minute! Glad you're ok!

Tyler Angel says:

I thought you died for a min

x7us says:

I thought you died!!!

xglad dope says:

Boy Scotty I thought it was you

Ben Tullett says:

Weren't Saturns mostly European GM cars from Opel and Vauxhall brands rebadged and given different bodywork?

tharun raj says:

For a second I thought it was scotty ,
gave me an heart attack !!
