Hi Richpin, I have a crown victoria 2004. My windshield wiper doesn’t stop.
I can adjust the speed. Only way I can stop is turn off the car. Could you
please tell me how to fix it? Waiting online………

sailormoon4545 says:

only GM could turn a simple switch replacement into an all day job. i like
my saturn, but i keep seeing things that remind me its still a GM car. like
putting the fuel pressure regulator in the fuel filter

richpin06a says:

You have a keen eye.

Derek Dowell says:

Lol I see you must have needed to swap cars cause the first was a five
speed lol

richpin06a says:

Good eye….i forgot my puller on the first one.

sharonKid69 says:

What about my coil? Could that be a issue

Mike Bigham says:

if its just a loose wire do you have to remove everything?

lillilmike says:

lol i was wondering why u through that bold lol

Tony Thatcher says:

@richpin06a u should buy those cars 😀 take them turn into saturn rice
rockets 😀

richpin06a says:

@nobodyisname Clubbin thats a good one…lol The stamp is from the wrecking
yard.I think my next video will be how to check a 98-02 Saturn range switch.

munoz4415 says:

Why did u film in two different cars?

David Leeret says:

Rich – what happens if the coil turns? I removed mine before watching this
video and did not tape mine (had to replace the ing switch). Do I need to
replace it or ??

richpin06a says:

@dale3858 2-3 hrs i would think.

Mary Kinz says:

Hey rich love the video. Ok so here’s my problem I’ve got steering wheel
and the air bag coil off. But, I can’t find a socket anywhere that will fit
in the hole to get the three screws for the multifunction switch off. Any
suggestions?

richpin06a says:

Depends were the loose wire is.

mtlh05 says:

Im kinda glad to see another Saturn video… especially after that horrid
Ford Escort!

gst69man says:

good vid and Merry Christmas.. How does one insure that the air bag does
not go off while working on it. In the past I have disconnected the battery
and the yellow connector, but wonder if thats safe. Thanks

Chris F says:

1:40 it became automatic!

richpin06a says:

You should remove the negative battery cable and the air bag fuse and wait
at least 30 minutes before starting your work.

richpin06a says:

@jardner2 I would think it is basically the same for most vehicles.I have
not worked on a vue so can not give you any info on that one.

imjus1guy says:

LMAO i see u swapped cars for some reason.. one was crank window n other is
electric

malibu3764 says:

Just used your video to help me replace the multifunction switch on my SW2,
couldn’t have done it w/o you, thanks!

sm870621345 says:

If you guys have a hard time finding a 5.5mm nut driver, try looking at a
RC hobby shop, they usually have those smaller sizes. Also, 7/32 is the
standard equivalent.

pobedaGAZm20 says:

@Richpin06a One thing I would add is that anyone trying to pull off a
steering wheel like you did should have the nut on a few threads first ! I
lost a front tooth doing something similar with a gearbox casing.

Patrick Gietzen says:

I just used your video ti change out my switch! Great video. I would
suggest using a nut driver to remove the deep set cover screws and the
screws for the switch. Much easier. Your video was spot on! Great Job.
Piece of cake after watching you!

stuntz0rZ says:

How would you go about fixing windshield wipers that stay “up” when turning
the switch off? I noticed the wiper switch in my 2000 saturn ls1 was loose
and out of place and had to push it into place. but that didn’t seem to do
it ?

lunalink says:

the car went from stickshit to automatic NICE =P nice camera!

Mary Kinz says:

Thanks. It’s a 5.5 m&m right?

richpin06a says:

@gst69man Yes the red socks did add a little touch didn’t it.

sslicker1 says:

great detailed vid,,,,,,,,,thumbs up

hawke232 says:

Thanks for the detailed vid’s. You do a great service to the remaining
saturn owners. Do you just go to the junkyard to do videos or are you
actually fixing these parts? I go every now and then to explore other
saturns just to see what they look like inside or get an idea of how
difficult something is on my actual car.

nobodyisname says:

This looks about as friendly as changing a coolant temp sensor on a vw
passat. What’s up with the hand stamp at 5:37, Rich be clubbin? I think
Rich has now shown us everything on a saturn s-series but the inside of the
gas tank…. hmmm, I think I know what the next video might be.

sharonKid69 says:

I replaced my switch and my air bag light is on. How could I fix this?

richpin06a says:

@gst69man Disconnect the battery then the air bag fuse and wait at least
half hour and you can remove the bag.

Bicycle Crossroads says:

@lunalink I just figured Rich got frustrated with that rusted or stripped
steering wheel and switched to another car in the junkyard. ^_^

richpin06a says:

You need a “nut driver”.Places to buy would be a Hobby Shop or Amazon.
