The Scary thing about this MOD is removing the Controller Port Ribbon cable without damaging it or being un able to plug it back in without damaging it when you try to plug it back in because you can't buy a replacement one except for maybe somewhere overseas like in Japan or from a un trusted company that might take your money and run and never send you the product or maybe even hack your account and clean out your account. I googled Sega Saturn Controller Port Replacement Ribbon and only came up with one hit that was allegedly an official Sega Replacement part of the Sega Saturn Controller Port Ribbon Cable from some place in Japan. I tried to remove the cable on my Saturn and it felt like it was in too tight and that if I tried to force it, it would break or tear the Ribbon Cable so I did not continue to try and un plug it.

just got mine, the print quality is fantastic. the only issue i have is the 2 spring pegs that connect to the buttons by the sdcard slot, wont stay on the buttons on the MODE. especially the one towards the front.
Why can't an extension be designed to fit micro SD like the MODE itself, as opposed to full SD?
Will the mode work for a model 2 Japanese console?
Ordered for my model 2 Saturn but now that I’m installing it I’m seeing a problem. My Saturn has the detached controller port board with a ribbon cable to connect it to the motherboard. After putting the lower bracket in, it’s blocking a screw hole and pinching the controller ribbon cable.
I’m off to order one. Thanks for your efforts.

I see why this mount is the most expensive one yet. Think I'll just pay the extra $5 to have it pre assembled.
I have to ask, that SATA – is that a label you put on it or is there a legit brand of White Label SATA drives? 😉
Is the SD extension included and if not which version is the right one?
This was great! When you put the top of the console back on, that fit, I literally said, aloud, "Damn…" That fitment is quality!!!
