@poncho828 Yes, unfortunately, but like i said in this tut. You can get an
actual memory card for the Saturn to completely eliminate the problem. this
is just a poor man’s fix. Most of the time, the battery doesn’t die for a
good long while
so does it delete all your data when the battery dies?
Sorry for the very delayed response. These batteries are available
anywhere, and no it won’t fix the other problems you are having.
What type of battery does the saturn run on? And, two my sega saturns
screen is flickering if I change the battery will that help?
@cartoonmarc no problem, bro
@1984Doomtrain Sorry for the delayed response. In the video i subtitles
what type of battery you need, but in any case its a CR2032 3v. This
doesn’t effect the visual output of your console that is a whole other issue
Also, where can I get a battery like this in a retail store or not online?
Thanks!
My Sega Saturn is working perfectly fine until I put in everyone of my
games (Except for Myst, oddly that works fine). And when I do put in my
games it spins and runs it except just when the game is about to start up
it makes the Saturn sit in a sort of idle mode where the light is on, disc
is spinning, but no picture or sound at all. I do need to replace the
battery regardless, but will the battery replacement fix this? If not, what
will? Thanks!
