I am going to try to replace mine in my 95 Chevy Tahoe thanks showing me how

Younis Mark says:

I like how you do the wiring, good job and great video.

ThumbdownMan says:

Stupid fuk engineers puts the fuel pump inside the gas tank.

Tobias Windom says:

how do i put the gas tank back in

Jaystacks916 says:

seems like everyone who makes theese videos have there own shop and shop
tools. i just have a driveway 3ton jack and tools lol

Mitch Windt says:

if he would have used the crimp and seals properly the electrical tape
wouldnt be necessary

LOC60100 says:

@MrRatlicker WAT U CAN ALSO DO IS JUST REMOVE THE BED INSTEAD OF TAKING OF
THE TANK

michael lamberg says:

cant that chizzle cause a spark

roadragecustoms says:

@cadw600 KYP auto wire strippers purchased from Matco. They are great
strippers, but not so great crimpers. I prefer my Blue Point 29CP crimpers
from SnapOn.

Jcooks1012 says:

Very quick and easy to follow excellent teaching on how to DIY….

MrWTF337 says:

The dashboard lights work but i cant tell how fast im going so i will get a
new cluster when i see wut the other problems are

shaochia vang says:

@roadragecustoms wait, my car like dies while im driving sometimes. it
would be once a wk, or like 2-5 times a day sometimes, the power would just
shut off, and i would have to stop the car, and restart it, sometimes it
dont even start too when i restart it and would have to wait a bit before
it starts again. the engine turns on for like 1-2secs, then it would die,
does it sound like a fuel pump problem ??

screaming71datsun510 says:

Great tutorial video…

roadragecustoms says:

@shaochiavang $100.00 – $300.00.

nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town says:

@theanthonyvh I’ve used a steel chisel, but I put saturated and dripping
(with water) towels all around the unit as I’m striking it, just in case a
spark should fly. I always leave the two fual lines hooked up until after I
unlock the ring, just to keep any fuel away. A big brass chisel is just
piece of mind I guess. Take no chances. Hate to see this scenario on
“Worlds dumbest mistakes 3″…LOL!!! I think I might make a “Quick Easy
Way” video on “Fuel Pump” removal, without dropping the tank.

Paul Johnson says:

You never showed putting the gas lines back on the new sending unit.

shaochia vang says:

@roadragecustoms ok, but do you know how much those fuel pump will cost?
and is it possible to just switch it by myself?

tripleflip7 says:

Do you have to use the aftermarket electrical connectors if the new pump
will hook up to the oem connectors?

Patricio Tomas says:

muy bueno el video

roadragecustoms says:

@goodson305 If you don’t spray the starting fluid, what happens? No start,
or extended cranking time? If you cycle the key to the run position 5
seconds at a time for 3 cycles before you start, does it make a difference?
Before you pull the intake, check the fuel pressure with the engine
running. Check to see how fast and how much the pressure drops, if any,
once it has been sitting long enough to need starting fluid. The pressure
could be lost out the regulator, pump, lines, or injector(s).

wattsupwitdat says:

To be safe, I would have used a brass tool or a wooden dowel to bang the
lock ring off with. Remember, you’re working with gas fumes and a spark
could ignite them!

Lori Morley says:

Thank you so much for your video! We watched so many others and they
totally sucked. Couldn’t understand what they were trying to tell us. Thank
you for actually showing us what to do!

nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town says:

Using a “steel on steel” chisel to remove the lock ring could cause a
spark, wouldn’t brass be safer?

jet62095 says:

do you know where the fuel pump fuse is?

TheGmixx says:

Good video!!!! does anyone know if a 97 cadillac deville fuel pump is
electrical? and if it needs any special tools to replace it?

MrHerbert694 says:

My 98 lumina would start up good cold, but after warming to opt temp it
would start to sputter some, still would run ok when moving but when
shutting off for several minutes then try to turn back on no starting, have
to spray starter fluid in throttle body to fire up, all sensors replaced on
throttle body!

heroes91092 says:

It’s the same basic concept… Jesus Christ dude just stop working on cars
if you can’t figure it out without seeing someone do the exact job on your
specific vehicle…

cadw600 says:

@roadragecustoms wow good quality tools. but i cannot afford. thats the
stuff i used when i was learning in college. i live by craftsman because
its all i can afford haha.

Jason Stueve says:

Used this video as reference to replace fuel pump on my 2004 Chevy Blazer.
It is almost exactly the same. Great explanations and nice camera work. My
first time for this repair and it went perfectly. Thanks for posting this!

nina5580 says:

Denis Picciuolo says:

wit the cam would have helped a touch, but all around good video

Johnny Snell says:

Do you have a video showing how to replace the Neutral Saftey switch on a
GM truck?

tayb0987 says:

awesome video very informative!!!

Samuel Underwood says:

You should smoke a cig while your doing this it will help you concentrate
LOL

littleelvisofMA says:

so fuel pump is for the odometer to read how much fuel you have, and it
sends the fuel to the lines, then to the engine, and I noticed you had to
make an electrical connection, by splicing a wire.?

ColbyAz says:

Good vid! im doing mine tomorrow on my 97 hoe and this is gonna save me
some labor money from a shop!

roadragecustoms says:

@10satelite The best thing to do is remove the fuse or relay, then run the
engine until it stalls.

MrWTF337 says:

@roadrage i got a video but i dnt have a computer to upload it & show u
what the car is doing i only have my iphone

saab900sis says:

He used electrical tape to cover the connectors so dirt and moisture don’t
invade and interfere with metal contact inside the connectors at any point.
It is best to be though.
