I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Phoebe ODE by Deunan for the Sega Saturn. Noticed that there weren’t any comprehensive video tutorials on how to install this bad larry so decided that I would make one myself. This covers a basic install for a Type 2 Sega Saturn. Hopefully you’ll find it useful until something better comes along.
Here are some great resources…
Deunan’s website (tons of info and where you can try to buy the Phoebe ODE when on sale) – https://gdemu.wordpress.com/
My Life in Gaming feature (more info on some the topics my video didn’t cover) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJnHbBd_sC8&t=334s
Thanks for watching!

My Life In Gaming stated that the Phoebe required soldering. I’m assuming after watching your video that’s no the case?
I REALLY want to buy this… I have tons of saturn games but I would like to reserve them, keep them on the shelf and use that instead.
Nice video, but I have an addition to your install. You'll notice after putting the system back together the ODE isn't exactly securely mounted, it can be moved up and down in place. Pull two of the rubber cushions off the CD drive and sit them over the black plastic pegs passing through the ODE board. Carefully place the top back on, you can open the CD door to see that the upper pegs go inside the rubber cushions. Keep some light pressure on the two halves of the system as you screw them back together. The compressed cushions will keep the ODE board securely in place. Cheers.
Heck yeah bro, that's pretty awesome! Congratulations on a successful transplant!
That was an intenste tech surgery! Great install!
This video should have been called: "PIRATING GAMES FOR FIRST TIME | EP.1 [GONE SEXUAL][COPS SHOW UP][NOT CLICKBAIT]"
This sucked!….. in a good way!……
I came here for toys and comics, not nerd tech .
