I dont see this way that air dont get sucked back in when "pumping the pedal" ..i would understand if the line was submerged in (or) under a bottle of fluid to keep air bubbles popping out and when you let of pedal it sucks fluid (instead of air) back in? Just wondering??? This is the way I've bled brakes for 25 yrs this way? (With a line in a bottle of fluid)??

I’ve tried this and no fluid is coming through at all when pumping the clutch pedal.

Ok iv done this. I actually have a bleeder screw right where your plug attachment is. Pressure vacuumed it back bleed it..im not leaking fluid or suckin in air, half hour later pedal goes dead again… Cant seem to keep the pressure on the pedal, everything from flywheel out is brand new. Its a 08 cobalt same motor same trans.
