Replaced driver side hub, thinking that might be the issue, but no luck,
still same noise. Then a noise started from engine area that was similar
but separate from this noise, the noise sounded like something was out of
fluid. Continually checked all fluid. Evenfound out how to check and change
transmission fluid but didn’t help stop or even lessen noise.

Definitely a front wheel bearing.

if im seeing that right is you parking brake on

Amandaj930 says:

I have a 04 Saturn vue and since I got it home it hasn’t moved my idea is
its outta transmission fluid because our cars don’t have dipsticks

SweetMooch says:

sounds like a wheel bearing. this car is well known to chew them up.

mojorisen74 says:

It’s a bad Wheel Bearing. Trust me, I’ve just replaced 2 of them on my 2002
Saturn Vue in the last 3 years…..

ted ledford says:

Any issues with shifting yet? Could also be a really bad axle bearing.
Sounds bad.

my mo bought one a couple of weeks ago and it is making the same noise now,
did u find out what was causing it? thanks

Michelle Lamore says:

I also should add, the noise is only when tires are moving so not at an
idle. Pitch of sounds gets higher as speed increases.

Michelle Lamore says:

No shifting issues as of yet, no power issues, just loud annoying sound.
Haven’t driven it since shortly after making this video. Just start it
daily to keep hoses and fluids going.

Michelle Lamore says:

But after looking at a few sites about the TCM, Ted I am going with your
belief.

Michelle Lamore says:

When checking codes it came up with catalytic converter but after reset
still nothing and that was roughly three months ago. But didn’t pass smog
(obviously) because it was reading that engine light issue (light should
have been on but I disconnected battery before test.lol).

ted ledford says:

It’s the transmission control module messing up…if you check the codes
you will see it. I have one with the same issue. It may lead to
transmission failure. GM had a recall on these transmissions but from the
mileage on yours I see that its over the limit for the model year. Good
luck…I am in the same boat but only paid $500 for mine so I will have the
room for repairs. I knew there was in issue when bought mine. Sorry!
