FCP Euro says:

Yup, they sure do, if you check the link in the description to our site we include all the fitment information along with the part, you’ll see both 9-5 and 9-3 are included on that list. Hope that helps!

Tanner Newcomb says:

Do the same rollers work on the rear windows of an 02 9-3? I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer anywhere online. Thanks!

Sunny P says:

Perfect!! Exactly what was wrong with my 9-5, job done happy days :)

Betsy Crussana says:

BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wow….. I can’t believe we were able to do this… BOTH front windows broke – got the driver side done – now the passenger side (when it cools off a bit!) – THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Jim Harmon says:

Excellent video. Thanks so much.

Nick Kendell says:

That could explain it!

I have a UK 1999 9-5 estate 2.3L petrol,SE spec.

Possibly the most comfortable car I have ever owned.

Truly excellent video.

FCP Euro says:

The model in the video does not have airbags in the door, which year/model do you have? So folks know when to watch for it.

Nick Kendell says:

I have just done this job, and it was exactly as you described.

The only thing I would say is that you need to be aware of the warning on the vapour barrier about the side air bag sensor.

In view of this, it may be best to disconnect the battery, but if you do you can’t move the window mech to line up the scissor action and glass runners.

I took a chance and didn’t disconnect it, and I have lived to tell the tale…but be careful.

FCP Euro says:

No sense guessing, get a read on that check engine light and move on from there.

sessahmaru says:

Sooo kewl of u to post this! Very informative……just got 2001 93 for a steal! Relatively high miles( 147,000+), have any suggestions as to what I should have checked out first? I noticed that the check engine light came on, but it runs very well! The turbo seems strong….I’d like to keep this vehicle running for as long as possible, so anything you can suggest would be useful.

Nick Kendell says:

Quite possibly the most useful video I have seen on Youtube. Thanks.

So the mechanics are the same for a 2003 Saab 9-3? My passengers window falls off the track or regulator, I have wooden wedges holding it up now. I’m about to purchase the rollers I hope that’s all it is.

FCP Euro says:

They’re similar, but a slightly different shape, check the description above, I’ve put a link in there to our site where you can purchase them for just a few bucks. Hope that helps.

rtnordman says:

Does a 2003 Volvo S60 use the same rollers? Where can someone purchase these rollers?

FCP Euro says:

I believe they are the same rollers in the back, but the regulator is different, so you may have to remove it differently. Let us know how you fare once you get in there.

evilz139 says:

i know this iz a bit old but can anybody tell me if the rear windowz uze the same rollerz?

bigz fart says:

ive been driving around with a bad window for months now. so glad i found this video. thank you so much

Stephen Grout says:

I’ve been told you can avoid the difficulty of positioning the clips on the rollers after the window is positioned by leaving the clips on the rollers while the window is still out. The explanation was that the spindle on the regulator will snapp past the clip just as it does the roller with pressure. Have you tried this? Does anyone else know if it works?

Like your tats man!

FCP Euro says:

@nissepissed You’ll have to take the door panel off to see for sure. The green rollers are quite often the culprit.

nissepissed says:

Hey and thank you so much for the help. I have some trouble with my driver window. I’m not sure whether it’s the regulator or the two green regulator rollers that need changing. I know that there are no clips. Maybe I should buy some new ones and see if that fixes the problem. How do I know if I should change the whole regulator or the green regulators? (The motor is fine though!)
Thank you so much guys!

FCP Euro says:

Glad we could help!

Gary Kubala says:

I have this issue on both of my front windows. I’m now confident to do the job on my own.
Thanks.

FCP Euro says:

I believe it is quite similar but I can’t seem to gather the information on exactly how similar. Hopefully someone else here can weigh in with a useful experience on an s80.

Aleksandr Rüütel says:

I have the same problem on my volvo s80. Do you think i can fix it in same way?

FCP Euro says:

Glad we could help!

Great video, thanks for posting. all these videos make DIY on my Saab so much easier. Very much appreciated.

Clear and concise instructions

Matthew Campbell says:

Excellent video. I’ve done this job myself but found it extremely difficult to get the ball joints to pop into the rollers and had to use a G clamp at one point. I’m not exactly feeble either. Guess I just had some tough ones. Thanks for the video though.

FCP Euro says:

That’s an great point, thanks for commenting!
