Definitely helps to have a lift it is possible without a lift thought. I did this with some help and it took about 5-6 hours but I was filming it and it was my first time doing a downpipe so you may do this a little quicker if you don’t film it! Hardest part was the bracket thats bolted onto factory downpipe. We tried using the torch and couldnt gets the bolts they are in tight posotion and are ontop which is just dumb as you see me mention in video.
Yes My engine light came on will need a tune to remove it if you want to get car inspected.
Well worth the money it sounds amazing!!! its throaty and the cracks and burbles in the exhaust are louder and more frequent.

How do you go about changing the plugs on these? As i wanna do my coils and plugs but its a pain?
I was thinking of trying to use am inlet plenum from an older vauxhall v6 na of some sort to relocate the throttle

Did you delete the cat and resonator and mufflers? I did the 3 inch downpipe deleted the cat and resonator and straight piped mine and mine sounds more like a super car but yours sounds alot like an sti.

Did you replace the brake reservoir cap? Was it deteriorating, mine is.
About how many total hours was this, I got a mechanic that's willing to do it so I gotta estimate the price vs houra
Was really hoping the 96 had a B235R or B204R. Sure it will still be a ton of fun to drive though.
