Nice vid! Look’s the same as VWs.

Brandon Deam says:

That rotor was MESSED UP

John Ruths says:

Very easy to follow. I just used this video to change the front brake pads on my ’99 9-3. No surprise that they have the same style brakes, but a 7mm allen wrench worked on the bolts that hold the calipers in place. Thanks for posting and job well done!

luvmybeemer says:

Thanks, I will give you a call soon. I need front brake pads for my 2010 9-3. Door sill plate says I have “AC” code discs.

FCP Euro says:

No videos yet, but give us a call at 1-877-634-0063, we can help you get those parts.

luvmybeemer says:

Great video, do you have one for late model 9-3’s? Why is it so confusing to buy the correct brake pads and rotors for my 2010 9-3 XWD?

FCP Euro says:

Hmmm, it could be your spindle/knuckle, if it’s not working properly it can cause your brake components to wobble. Let us know what you find.

ohyeah10456 says:

Great vid. Have you ever instal rotors and pads then have one wheel make a clicking sound and speeds up as you accelerate but stops as you step on the brakes? i have that happening now ,any ideas what it might be.i try taking the wheel off and retorque them but still the clicky sound.

FCP Euro says:

I have come from the future to tell you, no it is not. Next week’s winning numbers are actually: 08-13-17-23-43 / 02

firingupfiringoff says:

Bought one of these last week so to find your vids excellent for me simple made simpler. Thanks ….. ps.
is your tattoo’s secret next weeks lottery numbers ?

firingupfiringoff says:

I was thinking that you were taking the piss but then realised you can’t safely recognise your vehicle let alone lift it ! This man Alex is offering FREE advice that’s gratis to you and me… But however on a search for a VW Passat on erm youtube there is a man doing the same thing called Erik Wilson he is indeed a ‘Passat Messiah’…. apparently

daekol says:

Ive never had any problems with the front brake caliper holders when i havent put loctite on. But i failed to put loctite on the rear brake caliper holders and it wasnt so funny when i lost one of those bolts in about 60mph.. 🙂 So from now on i always recommending ppl to use loctite on those. Sure its harder to loose them but rather that than lose them while you are driving.

bigz fart says:

i guess this answers my question on the other video. lol

FCP Euro says:

@LinearElasticity what do you think it is?

FCP Euro says:

@d3v3ouzm1ndz if you’re unsure how to complete a repair safely, we fully encourage you to visit a professional. I hope you can find another video or friend that can walk you through the steps you’re lookin for, but unfortunately, we never will.

d3v3ouzm1ndz says:

@fcpgroton if we cant safely lift the vehicle then what the point of purchasing your products, we should just take our cars to the dealerships, or professionals. hopefully in your case they purchase from you, but your videos are contradicting to what you replied to me.

LinearElasticity says:

The tattoos on your arms are hiding a secret…

Ryan Kokesh says:

Best brake video I’ve seen – thanks, guys!

FCP Euro says:

@d3v3ouzm1ndz unfortunately we can’t, due to liability reasons we can’t show you how to jack up your car. Take a look at your owners manual, it should detail where your stands and jak should go while lifting. Hope that helps!

d3v3ouzm1ndz says:

@fcpeuro can you give a video showing proper placement of the jack, and jackstands while jacking. please, thank you. b5.5 passat proper jack stand placement would be very benificial to us!!

weirdshibainu says:
