DeShawn Carillo says:

this entire video is full of nonsensical words and I love it XD "Prindl" and "Jalousie"

Jose Balderas says:

Just performed this job and it was easy as pie! Thank you!

Taylor Harrison says:

What does the sport mode do?

Robert Sek says:

Anyone know what the name of the very first part he removed is called? The ring around the whole thing?

Karol Chludzinski says:

This is exactly what I was looking for. Big thanks!!

Adam Michoo says:

Any cig light bulb replacement videos?

cameron carroll says:

Just got gas yesterday and after I got back in the car I noticed it was broken. Must've broke when I parked it at the pump

Paul Trinidad says:

Hmmm I'd say not to make the cut, at least in a hot place like Australia, you'll be replacing it again in a few weeks after it's heat cycled – if your going to do the cut make sure you glue it, as it sags and gets bound up in the shifter mechanism….
You then have another broken jalouise strip
I can't speak for cooler places but definitely is a temporary fix in Australia.
The jalouise covers from rockauto the uro branded ones landed here are ~ $30usd so for me not worth saving 10 minutes to then have to redo it a few weeks later under warranty for a customer…

Allen Russell says:

I watched that video where the guy cut that whole side off. I tried the same trick as you, just slicing the right side, and it's worked fine for over a year. Good job!!

Scott Hardy says:

What is a "Dame" 9-5?

Matthew Kuester says:

This vid was super helpful – I just replaced the jalousie on my 9-3 with your help. Glad I didn’t attempt taking apart the whole shifter.

Gabriel Gomez says:

NOTE! for anyone with I believe an 04 and above, the sport mode wires are socketed and easily removal making the job easy the normal way. Just remove the screw and separate the half's. Early cars are a pita since they are soldered, thats where the pita reputation comes from

Martin Rice says:

By the way, I believe the word 'jalousie' is pronounced the same as the window style of the same name, e.g., "JAL – o – sie." Accent on first syllable. Nevertheless, great video.

Martin Rice says:

A very helpful video. Thank you very much. I have the near identical 9-5 2005 that had the same problem with jalousie disintegrating within a month after I bought the car.back in 2011. I just completed my repair following your video and the new jalousie looks and works great!

Michael Philbrick says:

Just finished installing the Jalousie. Took ten minutes. Works great. It was definitely the way to go as far as I'm concerned. Thanks.

Antonia McKinley says:

Where do I get that from and also the wood grain as well?

Saab Ross says:

Nice vid! I used to snip them like you did, but honestly tearing apart the shifter isn't too hard so thats the only way I do them now. Glad someone did a full explanation of the shortcut!! Also last I looked, those green straps were NLA, but if that's since changed or if you can find one, it's a good time to check & replace that too if it's worn.

Tom Spencer says:

Excellent video of a way to save over an hour. Thanks for sharing.

Kanyee Digum says:

Did you think about glueing the cut back together to prevent it snagging in the runner, just a thought.

Aaron says:

I did this about 2 years ago and its still working perfectly

Виктор Таранов says:

Где купил мне тоже нужно!!!)))
