I just got the P2187 code on my 07 V6 and just wondering if you've ever gotten that code. Bc I heard it could be from a vacuum leak. Thanks!
Thanks for this! I was able to find and replace a broken vacuum line following this, but I tried re-running the test again a few days later and now the pump does not run at all, even with a hose unplugged… Possible the sensor has gone bad? Am I missing some stupid simple step that I lucked into the first time?

Does the vacuum pump kick on when, key on, car off, and you apply brake? Trying to diagnose possible faults with these weak brakes

Thanks for this video. After watching I've noticed I've heard mine running non-stop as well. Just did the test and my break is in the first part of the line – from the brake booster up to that electrical connection. Ordered it, hope it fixes my random idle/misfire too.
