Installing this diffuser was my way to repair damage to my lower bumper caused by an eroded exhaust. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out

Please and please , I need your help, I got
2007 Saab 2.8l aero convertible and I really want to install a rear diffuser but the diffuser is not the same shape like the 2008–> convertible, my question is "can I replace 2007 bumper with the 2008 –> bumper " in order to be able to fix the diffuser that I bought?
Please I indeed need your idea.
