Today I install a 3D printed cup holder to finally give my 9-3 a decent cup holder, instead of the wack one’s the car has from factory. What are your thoughts? Leave them down below. Interested in purchasing one for your car? Click the link at the top of the description box!

Do yourself a solid and check out the cup holder here: http://mnproto.com/SaabCupholder.html
Right now it’s $65-75. Depending on the options you pick.
looks ugly af, needs to be carbon wrapped. Also offsettin the cup holder abit in the other direction towards to other cup holder by a few mm's would prob fix the rubbing issue (not 100 % about that)
How does the original 9-3 cup holder compare to the one in the 9-5?
Nonsense….. I only bought my Saab because of the original cup holder, its a work of art and worth the price of the car alone!
I actually switched out the factory "card holder" for an ice scraper option! It has become quite useful and been used a good amount! No need for the big ass scrapers that sit in the back seat floor or trunk. I do wish i could find the factory cup holder option for the smart slot but have heard its not of the best quality either
I see a tube around 3:00, diabetic? Bc i am too!
My solution on my 2010 9-3 2.0T is that I use the cup holders in the rear seat.
Problem solved.
No need to spend +$80 on this.
Looks great tho
Never underestimate the flip cup holder. It may seem flimsy but I literally put metal water bottles in it and it holds fine
Good idea, bad execution in terms of design and finish in my eyes.
Why not have the cup-holder offset from the center of the slot towards the e-brake to make for more room?
Also the colours is a complete mismatch and it looks crude, out of place and doesnt REALLY line up all that well in the back.
Maybe have some more bezeled edges to have less of the sharp china-plastic feel?
I wish more work was put into the design and finish of the product for the price of it.
I received mine in one week and it looks solid. Install today.

Or, buy the SAAB original Smart slot cupholder:

Glad the price is down from what I saw previously. Alway nice to see fellow Saabists find solutions and help others. I would probably sand down the edge so it doesn't scratch the TX seat though.
Im sorry but in my eyes it looks stupid.
Colour match is wrong, there is no problem what so ever with the original cupholder, you dont have to drink so much.. it's good for a 33cl coke and that's all you need,
Also there is a OEM cupholder for the Smartslot, looks better but harder to find,
And there is also a "Trashbin" where you can place two 50cl bottels..
Can anyone post Free STL or something I want to print it but I bought my printer to print things for Free not for that much of money :/
Craigslist find New Hampshire (Boston metro) 2009 Saab 93 Aero V6 6sp XWD, $3000 needs clutch. yay or nay?
