Not only that, but you will have to disassemble the whole cluster to get to
most of the bulbs! It’s a pleasure! Watch out, it has a few ribbon cables
that you will have to disconnect inside, and those are notoriously brittle.

where did you get that dash piece? i can only find it with the 13 piece
dash/trim oem kit? but all i need is just that part you replaced.

Nicolay Sandven says:

Hi, you know if ill need to remove the hole dash to change light bulbs inn
the speedmetre?

volcomXdiamond says:

i got an almost perfect one for free. but my AC screen doesnt work at all

forward……..

Vincent Phillips says:

My 01 Saab 9-3 warped in same area! Now I’m scared to change

bteeuwen says:

nice to see your sid is fully working… i might do a dash pull and apply
some 3m carbon fiber, but im not totally sure i want too since the wood
does look nice too.

tgsavel says:

I think you will

tgsavel says:

LOL. No need to be jealous…..unfortunately, it wasn’t luck, I replaced a
lot of the light bulbs…and had the SID unit repaired…once myself, and
then again, a year later by the professionals.

volcomXdiamond says:

lucky bastard. all your lights and screens are like perfect! so jealous lol

Sander805 says:

How did you remove the SID?

raysaw says:

Your camera technique needs a bit of work.

tgsavel says:

It’s just a pressure fit. Just use a spatula on the left and right sides of
the unit… as one side starts to move forward, grab it with your
fingers…and pull it straight out…. it will pop out… then just release
the wire connector…and you are free…. I’ve probably taken out my SID
unit about 20 times.
