This is what I love a out saabs. You have a code, you search it on google and YouTube and within minutes you usually find post and videos about a common issue that causes your code. I have yet to have a single issue on any of my saabs that wasnt a well document issue that was easy to diagnose. Seems a lot of saab owners fix their own cars and are nice to post about it as well. Thanks for the video gonna check the wiring on my 05 ARC now.

I had this problem for about 2 weeks (P0134) on my 2004 9-5 aero. My symptoms were some really bad misfires when accelerating and poor idling.. So this video was very helpful, my problems are now solved! Best saab channel on youtube 🙂

Hey Kyle! Would you like a Titan Grey 2005 9-5 hood in very good shape from New Rochelle, NY? If yes, contact me at abkennett@gmail.com.

@MassiveTrackHunter says:

Sounds like the metal control motor up top there, which I am guessing is the recirc flap controller?
You will be able to tell by turning recirc on or off and listening for noise during the transistion or if noise stops.
The 9-3's have problems with that control motor.

Christmas trees on your Saab….yep….been there a few times. Lol…..

Gear skip on motor to flipper

Need tech2,where you get your tech 2

@thingserik7269 says:

I borrowed wiper pullers from a friend. It did nothing. Had to use a torch and pry bar. I would have gone flat on the paint. You also need new rubber on the cowl, as do I. I've seen some on ebay but haven't bought it yet.

One job at a time!

@jgp6776 says:

I think that the clicking sound is coming from the recirculation stepper motor, some teeth on the gears inside it are missing, I just replaced the gears in the stepper motor on my Saab 9-5 2004. I live in Finland and ordered the parts from partsforsaabs in the UK, but I suppose you can get them in the US also.
The problem is finding a suitable tool for getting out the second hex-screw inside the hole on the left to remove the motor.

@SJSOmar says:

I’m still jealous of the positioning of the ecu on the 9-5 such a bad spot for the 9-3s they get cooked by the engine and they fail so often

Awesome vids. I have an 04 Aero as well and the dash needs to come out due to HVAC arm broken. Looking forward to seeing how it's done. Great work.

@GeorgeStar says:

Learning a lot from your videos but please turn down the volume on the music – too loud on headphones.

@Daniel-en1dq says:

Love seeing your videos man, nice to see there's still saab fans out there…

@garypowell4565 says:

I just went through the Hvac stepping motors left and right , looking online and everyone saying it's the stepping motor shafts, stop arms, lubricate, etc, etc, etc. It ended up being the control module, so I went to the junk yard and got another control module and right stepping motor, and fixed it. Got to learn how everything works anyway. The 22 is the acc software error, I had that one to, but it went away after I got everything put back together with working parts. I didn't know about the O2 wire splice and have'nt had any problem with it, but thanks for pointing that out.

@bartechh says:

You inspired me to ditch my mechanic & do all the work on my 9-3. Good work with the 9-5!
