Thanks for sharing. Gave me the confidence to get in and fix my lumbar support. Didn't have a new cable but was able to secure the broken end on the frame support and it's holding. Keep Saabing.

Nice video, thanks! I'm about to do this job, what size hog rings did you use, 3/8"? No way would I use zip ties in this application.

Thank you so much, I've been looking for a video like this for a while, there's not a lot of info on this

Thanks for sharing this information. I have successfully made the similar repair of the seat heater in my Saab 9-3 Vector 2008.

Very useful video. I have just finished replacing heating pad in my SS 93 AERO '04. I've got 2 thoughts:
1. I read WIS before watching your material. There is no need to remove old heating pad. They say to put a new one over the old one. I think it's easier.
2. Plastic zip ties may be used to fix the seat rim – quicker and easier. I saw this solution on another movie couple of months ago.
Thanks a lot for help!!! 🙂

Great video! I have a noise in my SAAB 93 coming from the passenger seat I think something is broken in the lumbar zone.
