I don’t get any CEL but it sounds like your car is going into Limp mode,
mine did that but it was due to my throttle actuator. Just disconnect the
battery give it a minute and reconnect.
The subs. I realize putting in an aftermarket stereo in these things is a
complete nightmare. But just splicing into the rear speaker wires, does it
produce an adequate amount of bass?
I just got stock 2007 93 2.0t and I can really hear the turbo and wastegate
(That “BOV” sound) with the stock airbox as is. Brand new air filter in it,
but with windows down the turbo is very very noticeable. Dont know why
people say you cant hear it with the airbox, also I would not be putting a
intake in my car that is sucking in all that hot air next to the engine.
Not a good idea. You probably lost power
Ever had problems with ur car stalling/not wanting to go when u gas it??! I
installed the same shit in my car & it happens every once in awhile..plus
my chec engine lights (time for service) stays on…
Yes it does as it should, it hits hard, But only if you have the 13 speaker
option in your car I believe is when you have the 6×9’s. They produce more
than enough bass to get your subwoofers hitting like if you had a regular
aftermarket headunit.
@2o9LoCC yes I have and I found what mine was, for me it’s my throttle
actuator, it goes crazy and throws a CEL which makes the car go into Limp
Home Mode which is what you experience when you floor it and you don’t move
very fast, Google it you’ll find a lot of detailed threads on forums

An intake does nothing for turbocharged cars since the air passes through
the intercooler before reaching the engine.
No, I dont get any CEL of any sort. Sounds like a bad turbo or actuator.
Do you also experience like a shuttering sound and shaking when you floor
it and then your cel pops up??
its Sylvania SilverStar H7 bulbs got from autozone for like 40 bucks
I did notice a little snappier throttle but at the end the major thing it
added was the BOV type sound which is muffled by the stock air box.
Saw off the original airbox.

What kind of headlights do you have on there? I have the same car and the
lights are super shitty
How did you install the intake with the maf sensor in place?

did the new intake increase your boost or add horse power?
