why you never put links for the parts?
Hey man quick question new to Saabs here would most of the stuff your putting (intercooler hoses ect) on your 03 9-3 2.0 fit on my 2005 9-3 2.0. just wondering !!
Have 2005 Aero convertible 2.0 petrol with new intercooler ( standard) and clutch – has 3 inch maptune exhaust – car has done 103k miles – thinking about having a three inch down pipe installed and just going to stage 2 – dont want to over extend engine given mileage – any advise please ?
How much horsepower increase did you gain?
Someone recomended to put 9-3 intercooler in my 9-5, I dont find this logic, but just look at sport cars, they have same small cooler, tiny compared to oem of 9-5
The intercooler helps mines looks a bit beat up… got parts we could trade maybe I got access to alot of saabs. I'm working on 05 saab 93 linear now. Not sure how to send pics or even parts… I tested all same detail things you did and doing lot of same upgrades
I need to upgrade my intercooler and radiator because the heat is just killing my transmission apparently.
Do you have a video of swapping the larger stock turbo into a 9-3? (also whats involved in re-programming fuel trims afterwards?) I had a shot to buy a 2.0T turbo awhile ago but passed because I don't have a Tech 2. 🙁 mine is a 2.0t)

Whats the difference between the manual do88 and the automatic ? Can I fit a manual do88 into an auto? Wondering because I found a great deal on a manual version but my car is automatic

Just got one of these… a 08…I believe this will be one of my first mod's on this car….Besides a Cold Air intake and exhaust. Do you recommend a type of spark plug to upgrade to? NGK..?
I disagree with the do88 cooler. Its too expensive in Europe. Ok its just like the factory with bigger plenum and full aluminium. But I think one used evo 8 cooler or one cheap chinese (same litres with do88) could make the same job. And you could put it back from the bumper . Stealth mode just like do88.
I’m looking at one of these as the next step for my 2.3t 9-5. Either that or a bigger turbo (or both!)
I love my do88 intercooler and bigger intercooler piping, makes a massive difference down here in Texas

Oh thank you for confirming one thing for me its the condenser. I notice my condenser is vent exactly how yours is on the left side passenger side. I been having this weird issue of the car " overheating " in which the temp gauge stays normal temp but in the scanner it keeps rising up. Il get it fix.. Thank you and Congratulations your video made my list of Saab DIY….
DO88 turbo intake pipe is very nice too. Great replacement for the oem plastic (that consistently breaks near the turbo). Nice to see a side by side comparison. Gotta get one of those.
Jacob, firstly congrats on getting yourself an intercooler after 3 years. Real talk, I get so much inspiration from your vids. I'm going to take a guess and say you're about 22 or 23 years old, your level of knowledge and passion toward your car projects is truly fascinating. Also, you have 2 cars at a young age.
