Super video, whos mom jumps in to reinstall a gearbox, lucky you to have those parents. Question, what model of low profile lift is that.

beardedgarage says:

cool video, good stuff. I'm doing my seal tomorrow so this was helpful!

S. DP says:

Jesus motherfucking christ, why do you have to pollute the filler portions with that repetitive, ugly, alienating noise? Silence or actual work sounds would be way better. The fucking video is unwatchable. I wish I could give a billion thumb-downs…

Clint Hightower says:

So mind blowingly cool that you Mom come out and hangs with you guys, love it!

speedcircuit says:

We sell a basic version of this tool for the 991 main seal.

Andy Muller says:

To see your mum working on a Porsche, priceless! Nothing on the whole YouTube like it! Well done! Great video!

Chris Shands says:

You have awesome parents

Jay Persaud says:

Did you purchase or rent that RMS tool looking for one for my 997T not wanting to spend $700.00 for a one time use.

Rogerio Silva says:

Great Video, thanks for sharing this.
I'm wondering to do this at mine, but i will first invest in a 4 post lifter.
How high is your garage? And how high was the car when your father removed the gear box. Thank you in advance for your attention.

Mario Rodriguez says:

Are you a culver grad???

Cole Naymark says:

This is so awesome (nice garage) but ironic in the fact that you're probably the only Porsche owners that do their own work 🙂

Sam Miorelli says:

I'm just curious, why didn't you guys install an IMS fix kit at the same time since you literally had the IMS out of the car? Or did I miss that in the editing of the last video?

eduki says:

I discovered your channel coming from the first part of the 911 rear main seal, some parts are a bit messy but I specially liked how your family is involved on the help, nice videos of the 911 😉 By the way, do you recommend them? I´m after a 997 Mk2 but coming from the E46 M3 I´m pretty new with them, and as you see first I´m checking for the DIYs and possible issues…

Jay Persaud says:

Gread video, nice having a lift and extra set of hands to help out

Awesome vid. I worked on lots of cars with my dad. You are very fortunate to have parents that have a passion for cars and helping out with repairs. Thanks for sharing with us!
