Believe it or not, on the Astro & Safari vans (1996 and newer), you don’t
need any tools at all to remove the radio. You just carefully pry the
instrument panel bezel off with your fingers (you might have to use a thin
object to get it started), and the radio just has 2 spring clips on each
side that you squeeze with your fingers and pull it out!
