Here is my DIY for replacing the drivers side door panel switch. The steps will be very similar for doing the passenger side one. I also cover in depth how to rebuild it taking parts from two to make one.

Great tutorial, saved me a bunch of money so very grateful. Been putting this off for ages because I thought the whole door panel had to come off. Ordered the part on the strength of this video, had it fitted in 20 minutes. Thank you.

excellent video, wondering if you made one on the power door actuator? or know of any videos out there on how to replace that.

Thank you for uploading this very informative video, just replaced it myself and save $1000 from getting it fixed at the local Porsche dealer

Kevin I really enjoy your videos, they are super detailed on Porsche Cayenne. Thank you sir … I have a issue with windscreen fluid injectors, the motor works but it doesn’t deliver Fluid, as u have cayenne too would you be able
To make a video this problem that be great many thanks .

Thank you so much for this video! I can't tell you how much time and effort you saved me. My wife's Cayenne had one of those window toggles break…what a pain in the neck! I found a replacement for the whole assembly on ebay for about $40 so it made more sense to replace the whole thing than it did to just fix one toggle…everything I read said the whole door panel had to be removed…looked like a whole lot of work…then I read about plastic parts needing to be heated to put the panel back on and something about glue…then I came across your video…I was done in less than 15 minutes, everything works great and I didn't have to melt, glue or pray! Awesome video, thanks so much!!!

Helpful video.

You forgot a very important information: how to remove the door handle. For a DIY, every little info is a great help!

A brand new would only been 50$

You're the best, man. Just swapped mine out in less than 10 mins, following your instructions. Just an FYI, I bought mine off of Amazon for $31.00 and the build quality is pretty much exactly the same as OEM. Makes me think Porsche may have outsourced it to China. Reason I did not swap buttons is because all four window switches were going bad. Auto-Up feature was failing on all 4 and chrome pieces broke off of 2.

I only got 30k mikes, even though it is a 2012. Got it new, so I know the switch is OEM. So in the future when all your auto-up is dying, take a chance with the Amazon model. It's called the "Qiilu Driver Side Power Window 7PP959858MDML" I can update you after a few months if you want regarding durability. But so far, everything works, even LCA

Every video on your 958 is hilarious to me because EVERY SINGLE THING you've tackled also failed on mine. I think this window switch might be the last thing, however. Also, hope you got the letter in the mail about the new 10 yr/unlimited mileage transfer case warranty extension for all 958s…

Ive been driving all sorts of cars for 23 years; never had broken window switches until I got the Cayenne; so lame
