Awesome video, thank you. I'm one week old into Porsche ownership. While my car came with 50K miles on it an all the IMS, Rear main seal problems dealer addressed it stated insanely slow when hot. So I'm doing this with the updated wiring now. Thanks again
Great video, thanks. My starter on my 996 is also shot, and I am debating paying to have it done ~$800 vs just doing it my self. You make it look like a quick fix, but it appears there are some difficult steps accessing the starter. Any warnings you can highlight before I take the jump? Also, besides getting a starter, what other parts and seals do you recommend I replace along the way, besides the air filter? Also, that socket extension to access the starter bolts, will any flex shaft work for that, I can't see exactly what you did. Thanks for the video.
