Join me as I show you how to install a Porsche Tequipment Roof Transport System on your Porsche 996, 997.1 or 997.2 Coupe models. This rack will not fit on a Targa or Convertible. This is a very easy accessory to install by yourself, all you need is the supplied 5m Hex tool in the kit as well as a flat head driver. Installation will take you about 30 minutes to complete, maybe even less.

Nice video! I’d also mention to thoroughly clean the areas around the attachment points before you start the install. This prevents any dirt or contaminates from getting stuck in there and causing micro-abrasions. I even added a small piece of Suntek clear vinyl to give a little more piece of mind.
Nothing cooler than a rack on a 911 holding a ski rack or a bike. I’ve even seen a kayak on a 911! But with the uninstall being being some work, one has to really want that rack on the top.
