In this video I step through how to remove the stock orange side markers on the Porsche 991 and replace them with clear LED side markers. It’s a simple change that can take you just 5 mins but you have to be very careful not to damage your paint. With a few simple tricks it’s super easy and you’ll love how they look!

James, I finally took the plunge…997 C2CAB to 991.2 C2CAB — and this was the first mod I did. Thanks for the great video as always!!
SO… Can you get clear bulbs?
Just ordered mine for my 991.1 off the back of this . They look so much more modern than the standard and a cheap mod too!
Swisstrax or racedeck flooring? Do you like free flow style?
I think that is a mandatory upgrade..lol
They look Awesome in the video.
The paint looks very shiny in the vid.
Any paint Correction or Ceramic Coating done to the car?
Looks way better James, nice mod.
Seriously though..both lovely cars but the PDK takes the 991 to another level..enjoy
Nice, you removed it properly. Good job! As for your mods, I don't recommend upgrading to the S brakes. It's a lot of work and money. Not worth it in my opinion unless you want the performance upgrade. I would just powder coat the stock calipers. Car looks great as is!
They look much, much better. Good riddance to those old horrible orange ones! Nice mod 🙂
Very nice car I am sure you will have a lot of fun in it.I will still be viewing your channel although feeling humbler driving my 997s.
That didn’t take long at all, but it’s certainly necessary!! What’s next?
begining of a long list of change, improvement or just fun. it's a long but cool journey which starting here !
looks great! For the purest at heart, on your wheels, the Porsche crest should point toward the valve stems. I notice they didn't on the wheel shown. No worries – easy fix.
